What this collection doesn't include

Two things people expect on a sleep page and will not find here.

Melatonin

Not stocked

There is no melatonin in the SLEEP strip and no melatonin product in this catalogue. It is the most common sleep supplement ingredient there is, so if that is what you came for, this is not the page. We would rather tell you that than let the category name imply it.

DSIP on its own (delta sleep-inducing peptide)

In SLEEP only

DSIP is carried at 200 mcg per strip inside the SLEEP blend and is not sold as a single-compound strip. If you are specifically researching DSIP rather than a blend, the education page is the useful destination and it carries no buy button.

If a sleep product page will not tell you what it leaves out, it is not really telling you what it contains either.

About this collection

What is actually in the SLEEP strip

Four actives are printed on the label and all four are named here: DSIP at 200 mcg, GABA at 20 mg, 5-HTP at 10 mg, and InstaRelease™ at 3 mg. Only the first is a peptide — DSIP, delta sleep-inducing peptide. GABA is an amino acid that functions as a neurotransmitter, 5-HTP is a serotonin precursor derived from griffonia seed, and InstaRelease™ is InstaMed’s name for its delivery matrix, not an active in the usual sense. Any page that lists a blend without saying which ingredient is which is hoping you will not ask.

DSIP, and the honest size of the evidence

DSIP has a name that sounds like a conclusion. The research behind it is a small, mostly older body of work, and it does not support telling you that a strip will make you sleep. The compliant claim is that the product supports normal, restful sleep cycles — a structure/function statement about a normal process, not a treatment for insomnia or any sleep disorder. If you have a diagnosed sleep condition, that is a conversation with a licensed provider, not a supplement purchase. The DSIP page and what the small studies actually showed set out the evidence without inflating it.

Why a strip for an evening routine

The practical argument for a film at bedtime is unglamorous: it needs no water, no measuring and no preparation, which makes it easy to keep to at the end of a day. Place it under the tongue, let it dissolve, then swallow — the same instruction as every other product on this site, covered step by step on How It Works. Whether the sublingual route changes anything about these particular ingredients is not established for this product, and we do not claim it does.

Before you add this to anything else

5-HTP is the ingredient to raise with a licensed healthcare provider, particularly if you take any medication affecting serotonin. That is not a scare line; it is the single most useful thing on this page. This product is for adults 18+, is not for use by anyone pregnant or nursing, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Sleep-specific safety is covered in our sleep peptide safety write-up, and general contraindications in peptide contraindications.

Questions

Sleep — common questions

Will this make me fall asleep?

We cannot tell you that, and a dietary supplement may not claim it. The label claim is that the product supports normal, restful sleep cycles. It is not a treatment for insomnia or any sleep disorder, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If sleep is a persistent problem for you, that is worth raising with a licensed healthcare provider.

Does it contain melatonin?

No. The four listed actives are DSIP 200 mcg, GABA 20 mg, 5-HTP 10 mg, and InstaRelease™ 3 mg. There is no melatonin in it and no melatonin product in this catalogue. DSIP compared with melatonin covers the difference.

Can I take it with my other supplements or medication?

Ask a licensed healthcare provider, and mention the 5-HTP specifically — it is a serotonin precursor, which makes it the ingredient most worth reviewing against anything else you take. This product is for adults 18+ and is not for use by anyone pregnant or nursing.
