Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED 2026-08-18

This describes the data flows that exist on this site today. It is deliberately narrow: we would rather publish a short accurate policy than a long one describing systems we have not built.

What we collect

When you place an order. Your name, email address, shipping address, optional phone number, the items and quantities you selected, and any note you add. That is the entire set.

When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address and which page you subscribed from.

When you use the partner inquiry form. The business details you type into it: business name, your name and role, business type, contact details, the programs you ticked, and your message.

What we never collect. Card numbers. There is no payment processor on this site and no card form anywhere on it, so there is no card data to lose. We do not ask for date of birth, government identifiers, or any health information, and you should not send us any.

Where it goes

Order and inquiry details are delivered to us two ways: a webhook into our customer-relationship system, and a notification email through a transactional email provider. Both are third-party services acting on our instructions. If both delivery paths fail, the order is not silently accepted — you are told to retry or to email us, and your cart is not cleared.

Analytics. No analytics provider is currently enabled on this site. The tracking code is a no-op unless a provider key is configured, and none is. When one is added, this section will name it before it goes live.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your purchase history with advertisers or data brokers. Purchases in this category deserve discretion, and we treat yours that way — including plain outer packaging on every order.

Email

Marketing email is opt-in and unsubscribes in one click from any message. Transactional email — order confirmation, invoice, shipping notification — is separate, is sent because you placed an order, and is not something you can unsubscribe from while an order is open.

Your data, on request

Email hello@tryinstamed.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We reply within 30 days and usually much sooner. We will ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the order — that is the only way we can tell it is you.

Cookies

Your cart is kept in your own browser’s storage so it survives a reload. It holds product slugs and quantities and no personal information. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Still needs a lawyer. This document was written by the people who run the site, not by an attorney. The following are deliberately absent rather than invented, and are on the pre-launch list:

  • A named subprocessor list with the actual vendors, their locations, and the data each receives.
  • A data-retention schedule — how long order records, inquiry records and newsletter records are kept.
  • State-specific privacy rights language (California and the other comprehensive-privacy states), including whether a "Do Not Sell or Share" mechanism is required given that we do neither.
  • Whether anything in this category counts as sensitive personal information under any applicable state law.
  • GDPR/UK applicability if the site ever ships or markets outside the United States.

Nothing on this page is legal advice. Spotted something wrong or missing? hello@tryinstamed.com.

The other four policies

  • Medical DisclaimerEverything on tryinstamed.com is educational, not medical advice. What that means, who these products are and are not for, and each page’s review status.
  • Terms of SaleHow ordering works on tryinstamed.com: what an order commits you to, how the invoice works, what we charge, and what happens after you place one.
  • Shipping & ReturnsWhen orders ship, what shipping costs, how returns work on an ingestible product, and what happens if something arrives damaged or wrong.
  • Accessibility StatementThe accessibility standard tryinstamed.com is built to, the gaps we know about, and how to tell us when something on the site does not work for you.
