Shipping & Returns

Two things drive most abandoned carts in this category: not knowing the landed cost, and not knowing the returns policy. Both are on this page in plain numbers.
When your order ships
Orders ship from Draper, Utah within 1–2 business days of the invoice being paid. Because there is no card payment on the site yet, the clock starts at payment of the invoice rather than at checkout — see Terms of Sale for how that flow works. Tracking is emailed on dispatch.
No cold chain. The strips need no refrigeration and are not harmed by summer transit temperatures, so there is no cold-pack surcharge and no delivery-day requirement.
Plain packaging. Every order ships in plain outer packaging with no product branding visible from the outside.
What shipping costs
Shipping is free on orders of $150 or more. Below that, the rate is shown on the invoice before you pay anything. Sales tax is added on the invoice too. Nothing is charged until you pay that invoice, so there is no scenario where a shipping cost surprises you after a charge.
United States only. We do not ship internationally today. The checkout address form accepts a US state and ZIP code only.
Returns
Unopened, 30 days, full refund. Unopened products in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Email hello@tryinstamed.com before sending anything back so we can tell you where it goes.
Opened packs. We cannot restock an opened ingestible product, so opened packs are not returnable. That is a food-safety limit rather than a policy preference, and it is the same rule every credible supplement seller works to.
Damaged, wrong, or missing. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect or short, tell us and we will make it right at no cost to you — replacement or refund, your choice. Photographs help but we are not going to make you fight for it.
Cancelling
Before the invoice is paid, cancelling costs nothing and needs one email. After payment but before dispatch, tell us immediately and we will stop the order if it has not left. After dispatch, it falls under the returns rules above.
Still needs a lawyer. This document was written by the people who run the site, not by an attorney. The following are deliberately absent rather than invented, and are on the pre-launch list:
- Who pays return shipping on a change-of-mind return, and whether any restocking fee is permissible in the states we ship to.
- Whether a 30-day window and the opened-pack exclusion satisfy FTC and state requirements for a consumable product.
- A written policy for lost-in-transit parcels once a carrier account is in place.
